Internal wear rubber coating works for two steel slurry tanks, each 5,400 mm in diameter and 8,500 mm in height, were completed by CorCoat using the free steam vulcanization method. The tanks were coated with NR- and SBR-based rubber, followed by a curing process of 24 hours or more using free steam vulcanization. The rubber coating has a Shore A 55 ± 5 hardness, with thicknesses ranging from 6–12 mm. Adhesion test values exceed 7 N/mm², which is considered excellent according to this application method.
