At Solufert Kimya Inc. DEMI Unit, due to the rapid deterioration of the existing coating applied to chemical waste channels, CorCoat provided special PP sheet coating materials along with installation services. First, the existing coating was removed from the concrete, and any concrete damages were repaired with flexible mortar. 4 mm thick PP sheets were bonded to the concrete surface using a resin-based special mortar, and plastic welding with PP electrodes was applied at the joints. The existing channel grates were renewed with GRP-FRP and the system was put into service.
